Biking to preserve old aircraft
Two airmenfrom RNZAF Base Woodbourne are cycling from Shelly Bay to RNZAF Base Auckland over the week 8-13 October and expect to be in Waiouru on Wednesday 9 October. They are actively seeking sponsorship to raise funds for the RNZAF Museum. The airmen are LAC Dave Wright and AC Alan Moulai, both members of Number 1 Repair Depot at Woodbourne. They hope to reach Waiouru by 9 October and will be staying overnight. They are confident of reaching Auckland by 13 October. Anyone wishing to help sponsor this fund-raising cycle ride to preserve and restore old aircraft should I contact Corporal Gordon or I Corporal Taylor at the RNZAF Base in Waiouru.
