Holiday reading
1 Adult readers will be 1 pleased to know that the I library van arrived on 1 Tuesday 20 August to I exchange about 450 books. Among the new books in the library now are 'The Mexico Set' by Len Deighton, 'In Her Own Image' by Anna Murdoch, 'The Return of the Gypsy' by Philippa Carr, and 'A Flower That's Free' by Sarah Harrison. In the non-fiction are: 'The 3rd Vol. of Janet Frame's Autobiography — The Envoy from Mirror City', 'The Encyclopaedia of N.Z. Rugby' and '100 Years of All Black Rugby', 'The Oxford History of New Zea- , land', 'Dr Miriam Stop-
pard's Life Guide', and 'Baby Shock'by Dr J. Cobb. For teenagers there are another 30 novels and for all ages there is a large collection of books on hobbies and crafts. During the holidays (on Thursdays and Fridays) there may be demonstrations in the library, of some hobbies/ crafts.
