BULLETIN MANAGER WINS SQUASH
Waimarino Bulletin manager, Rod Gill, reversed the 1984 Waimarino Squash Club result by defeating Warwick Goile, who now plays for the T.C.O.B. club in Wanganui, in the 'C' tournament held at the Raetihi club over the weekend. Goile, who was the top seed in the Newson's Pharmaey sponsored tournament, was expected to beat Gill easily, but the second seed had other ideas. Using all his guile and experience, Gill accounted for his opponent 9/5 9/4 10/9. In the women's Division One event, Leslpy Todd was an easy winner against Marion Rountree.
