Frank 'n Stein evening success
A good crowd attended the 'Frank 'n Stein' Night at the Ohakune Hotel last Saturday week.
The sing-a-long and spot prize evening was jointly sponsored and organised by Steinlager and AHI Turoa Skifield Ltd yid 'Bavarian-
type' music was provided by the Tenderkist Brass Band of Wanganui. Several revellers, as well as members of the band, dressed to look the part but particularly fetching was Turoa Skifields marketing-manager-cum-doorman for the evening, Andy Chapman, in his Tyrolean hat and shorts. Printed song sheets allowed everyone to join in the lyrics of familiar melodies which also included some old favourite but not very Bavarian tunes unless it can be claimed that Munich is indeed a long way from Tipperary!
