Ohakune police sergeant Neil Coker has issued a warning to motorists to lock their cars after several vehicles were broken into during the week. A car radio, jacket and two cheque books were stolen from a vehicle at Kakatahi Golf Club on Thursday. At the Turoa car park, a pair of ski boots were taken from a vehicle on Tuesday. ★ ★ ★ The administration block of Ruapehu College was broken into on Saturday night. The offehders stole a small quantity of cash. ★ ★ ★ Waimarino Golf Club was broken into Wednesday/ Thursday night and a small quantity of liquor was taken.
