Two youths appeared in court in Wanganui yesterday after being apprehended on Sunday for breaking into cars parked outside the Ohakune Rugby Club. The two youngsters were caught by members of the club, although two other youths fled the scene. One of the boys appeared in the Wanganui District Court, the other in the Children and Young Persons' Court. ★ ★ ★ A Hewlett-Packard calculator was stolen from a parked vehicle in Ohakune on 24th-25th July.
