Les Belle Boys entertain
The visit to Ohakune was part of a farewell to New Zealand tour, as the boys — Adrienne, his brother Stephen, Georgina Beyer and Michelle Lesley — are shortly to leave for London to start an extensive world tour. Les Belle Boys have toured the club circuit in New Zealand for two and a half years, but don't plan to return to this country for some time. Adrienne and Stephen's mother, Mrs Beverly Clarke, manages the boys and also takes care of lighting and sound while they are on stage.. The boys' performance is of very high standard, claims Mrs Clarke, "and they never intend to offend anyone."
