Gun club shoot results
Steve Redmayne, a visitor from Taumarunui was the top performer at Sunday's Waimarino Gun Club shoot. Amongst Steve's achievements was breaking fifty straight in the down the line event, a feat which won him a club badge. The day's results were: 10 bird eye opener: Possibles — Trevor Frederick, Bruce Redmayne (Taum), Steve Redmayne (Taum), Jack Corbett (Taum), Les Thurston. 15 bird single barrel: A grade, Evan Sommerville, Steve Redmayne 13. B grade, Gavin Brown, Errol Sue, Chris Wise 1 1 . C grade, Les Thurston 1 1, Don Robb 10. 25 bird point score: A grade, Steve Redmayne. B grade, Chris Wise. C grade, Les Thurston. 25 bird single rise: A grade, Steve Redmayne 25, John Dempsey 24. B grade.
