Another win for Rebels

Raetihi Rebels came out on top against a very determined Utiku Old Girls' team at Raetihi on Saturday by 2-1. Rebels played a very

scrappy game in the back line leaving many opportunities open for Utiku tocapitalise on. However, several of these opportunities were marred by a very determined right half, Margie Berry. A good follow through by Mary Leggatt saw the first goal up for Raetihi. Play deteriorated through the second half and Raetihi spent most of the time on defence. A good final run in the closing minute by Charmaine Green drew the Utiku goalie and Thelma Berry was in forthe goal. Rebels play Ruapehu Girls at Raetihi next Saturday.
