Gun club shoot
% Because of wet and cold conditions there was a small turn-out for the Waimarino Gun Club's monthly shoot on Sunday. Results were: T en bird eye-opener - won by Brian Fredericksen who broke ten. Five pair double-fastmal-lard - A grade: 1st Evan Somerville 8, 2nd equal Trevor Frederick and Jim Dobson 7. B grade: 1st Gavin Brown 6, 2nd equal Brian Fredericksen and Gil Martin 6. C grade: 1st Donald
Robb 4, 2nd Trevor Taylor 3. 15 bird DTL (down the line) open trophy: 1st Trevor Frederick 15. 25 bird points score club trophy - A grade: 1st John Dempsey 24/70 (targets/points). B grade: Chris Wise 24/68. C grade: Donald Robb 21/62. 15 pair double rise - A grade: Trevor Frederick 23, 2nd equal John Dempsey and Jim Dobson 21. B grade: 1st Brian Fredericksen 20, 2nd equal Tony Taura and Chris Wise 19. C grade - 1st Alan Zohs 18, 2nd Donald Dobb 16.
