Flying policeman

Currently working towards his commercial helicopter licence is Ohakune police constable, Greg White. Greg presently has his commercial fixed wing licence and is trying to increase his hours by taking friends and acquaintances flying whenever possible in a Piper Archer 4-seater plane, which is based at Ward's

Airstrip, Raetihi. Greg's passengers have enjoyed flights over Mt Ruapehu, to Karioi Forest, Lake Rotokuru, the Bridge to Nowhere, the Patea dam site and on really clear days even as far as Mt Egmont. Greg hopes to take the practical part of his commercial helicopter licence exam early next year.
