Telethon activities
Ruapehu Lions' Cluh will stage a family social evening at their 'den' in Arawa Street, Ohakune on Saturday to raise money for Telethon. The social evening will begin at 7pm and there will be raffles, soft drinks and * plenty of fun for all the family. There will also be a television to enable those present to watch the action. The telephone number for . pledges is 58-900. Also on Saturday the fire brigade will hold a Telethon street collection in the region.
