Despite travelling to T aumarunui with a strong team, Waimarino United was beaten 3-0 by the home side. Waimarino failed to take
their opportunities and were unlucky not to score on several occasions. Meanwhile at Waiouru, Ruapehu College went 1-0 up after 13 seconds with a Jamie Dennison goal. The Waiouru Cadets pegged one back before halftime, then two more in the second half to win 3-1.
