New colour coding business

Carol Wilson is a woman who has lived in many places, and done many different things. During her travels she lived in India for eight years, where she worked as a model and a dancer. Now she is establishing a 'colour coding' business in Ohakune, after completing a course in Rotorua. Carol will advise people which colours suit them best. "Before 1 did the course I wore winter colours that didn't make me look as good as 1 could look," she says. People have two types of skin undertones, blue and yellow. The undertones are separated into different seasons. The seasons for blue are summer and winter, bul

for yellow the seasons are autumn and spring. To find out which colours best suit a person, Carol covers their head with a white scarf and holds different colours up to their face. "People with blue overtones suit gold jewellery, but those that have yellow suit silver," Carol claims. To help her improve her

service to her clients, Carol plans to buy special lights. These will enable her to colour code when there is insufficient natural light. Carol's husband Kit, is a research and development

manager at Karioi pulp and paper mill. They have two children, Katrina 10 and Steven 6. Before moving to Ohakune, Carol and Kit lived in Tokoroa.
