Births, marriages and deaths
As with the last two months, there were no deaths in Waiouru during the month of April. There were also no deaths in Ohakune, but one in Raetihi. There was an increase in the number of births in Waiouru during the month with six new-born babies compared to two last month. Raetihi births have dropped from six last month to one during April. Ohakune doubled its birth rate from two last month to four during April.
Figures for births, deaths and marriages during the month of April were: Raetihi - births 1, deaths 1, marriages 1. Ohakune - births 4, deaths 0, marriages 2. Waiouru - births 6, deaths 0, marriages 1.
