Shock results in softball
There were two upsets for Ruapehu College Old Boys last week, ' when they were beaten by both Waiouru and Raetihi. Waiouru triumphed 8-2, due partly to the skill of Willie Walker, the 'old man' of Waimarino Softball, who hadn't played for Waiouru for quite some time before this match. Willie is secretary of the Waiouru Softball Club and Draw Steward for the Waimarino Softball Association. He contributed four runs towards his team's victory over Ruapehu College Old Boys.
