To the editor

Dear Editor "Fed up Ratepayer" (26 February 1985) seems to be a bit confused. I believe that F.U.R. might find, after a head count, that there are more local ratepayers' properties than holiday ratepayers' properties in Rangataua, that are eyesores! (Skiing is not the only attraction assocfated with Rangataua). The several vacant sections are the main concern and they are, in part, owned by the Lands and Survey Department and Waimarino 'locals'. The land is just a vacant waste and undeveloped. As a ratepayer, I would like to see a "littfe 'more activity by the county staff in cleaning up the road side verges, disused drains, thistles and all (and burying the white painted rocks).

I Love

Rangataua

(almost as it is) R. Hoadley, Upper Hutt
