Scouts to disband?
The Ohakune Scout Group may fold-up once again, unless there is a better response at their next gathering. At Tuesday's first meeting of the year there was a very disappointing turnout of only two boys. A working bee held recently at the Scout Hall in Lee Street only attracted three parents. If there is a poor response to the next meeting of the scouts — to be held on Tuesday 5th March from 4.45pm to 6.30pm the group will have to be disbanded, says Scout Leader, Raewin Pearson.
