Shortly after 11pm on Friday night three youths were seen siphoning fuel from an aircraft at the Raetihi airstrip. The police were notified and the offenders were located at Mangarewa Road at 1 1.20pm. The youths will appear in Ohakune District Court on 21st February, two in the open court and one in the children and young persons' court. ★ ★ ★ On the night of 1st/ 2nd February, two sheepskin car seat covers were taken from

a motor vehicle which was parked at the single mens quarters at the forestry camp in Clyde Street. The covers were chocolate brown in colour. Any information about the theft would be appreciated by Ohakune police.
