Bowls results
The Ohakune Court Motel team were the winners of last week's Twilight Bowls match for the second time in the tournament. Ohakune has again held the Pluck Cup but this time it was very close. An extra end had to be played and the team "only just capped it," according to team member, Rita Kaiwhare. The winning team members were: A. Nation, B. Cochrane, R. Kaiwhare, M. HUI Winner of the Junior Singles Tournament held last Wednesday was C. Kaware. Winner of the open singles was V. Brown.
This Wednesday, the Ohakune Bowling Club is holding a sponsored mixed tournament.
