BMX Club goes into recess

At a recent meeting called to decide the fate of the BMX track and BMX racing in the Waimarino a disappointing attendance of five persons was all that could be realised. The attendance seemed to verify the lack of interest that had been present at the end of last season. The few interested parents then decided that until such time as more interest and

support was available the club should go into recess. However the track will remain and although it may become overgrown with grass, will not take too long to get back into shape, should interest rekindle. In the meantime anyone who wishes to ride on the track must obtain permission from the A&P Association committee (Tom Punch President, Locheen Tod Secretary).
