The Minister of Defence Mr F.D. O'Flynn inspects a guard of honour from the Regular Force Cadet School on his arrival in Waiouru. Accompanied by the Commander of the Army Training Group, Colonel B. Meldrum, the minister toured the camp inspecting the facilities and accommodation. Whilst in Waiouru Mr O'Flynn moved out into the field by helicopter and inspected the Officer Cadet Training Unit on their final exercise 'Takroma.'
