Ode to Ohakune's Giant Carrot
Here's a silly little contribution that just occurred to me this morning (Saturday 29 September — Carrot unveiling day). It is in the style of William McGonegal who was a really atrocious Scots poet whose works can be found in various places. Spike Milligan usually 'sent him up'. Anyway this is what he might have written had be been alive today.
