Raetihi boy selected
This is II -year old Wayne Te Huia from Raetihi who has been selected for the New Zealand diving team which will compete at the Pacific School Games in Melbourne, Victoria in November. Wayne started diving wheh he was eight years old and has won several titles including the NZ' national age group title earlier this year. Forhisforthcoming Australian trip Wayne and his family, coach and friends are currently trying to raise the $1000 required for air fares and uniform. Community support for this young Waimarino diver who will be one of only six representing New Zealand overseas, would be welcome.
