An expensive round

Jt s a strongly held tradition among some members of local public service organisations —such as the Post Office, Railways and the Electricity Department — to 'shout 'your mates if you get your photograph published in the local newspaper. This phenomenon is most noticeable when a Bulletin reporter produces a camera and prepares to take a photograph ... suddenly there 's no-one tobe seen! On this occasion however these members of the Ohakune Club appear to be quite relaxed about theprospects of'shouting' their mates. They are.from left, Selwyn Herewini (KCEPBf Sam McCarthy (NZPO), Jonathon Thompson (NZR), Bob Tumataroa (PO technician and last week's 'rare bird) and Sandy Peterson (NZPO linesman).
