Turoa turns on fine weather

Turoa Skifields reported a great weekend's skiing, turning on fine weather and fresh snow which resulted in snow-tanned faces for over 5000 skiers. Saturday saw over 2500 skiers on the mountain and a similar turnout on Sunday. The Homestyle Slalom was run on Saturday on a hard course which saw fast times being recorded by the top racers. The prestigious Grimwade Cup was won by Marcus Hubrich with the best combined result of 3.44 points.
