Car makes unorthodox entry
Ian Strachan of Karioi received a surprise on Sunday 2 September, when a green Holden Torana crashed through his fence and came to a stop in his front paddock! The driver, Adloff Smol- | nicki and his wife, were heading home to Petone, when they left the road. Mr Smolnicki received facial and head injuries, whilst his wife suffered a bad laceration to her left knee, as well as a fractured wrist. Both were taken to Waimarino Hospital, then transferred to Wanganui Base. The car sustained minor damage.
