Police warning

Many skiers are not taking adequate precautions against theft, according to Sergeant Neil Coker of the Ohakune police station. Skiers are better to keep skis and other possessions inside their accommodation at night, Seargeant Coker said. On a happier note, an assortment of lost property, ranging from wallets to woollen hats, is accumulating at the station.
