CRIPPLED CHILDREN COLLECTION

Over $1900 was raised at the August Shop Day in Raetihi. This money will be spent in the Waimarino District. Raffle winners: G. Fredricksen; K. Harford, B. Dobson; A. Newson, Sammyjo Ruke, Betty Allen, Peggy Frew, Stefan Iomadis, M. Martin, N. Pikari, R. Barrel. There are only eight committee members in the Raetihi branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society and their thanks go to everyone who helped in any way and to the public who so generously gave at this annual even. Five hundred dollars was sent to the work centre for sale of their canework and moccasins.
