Farmers will be disappointed according to chairman
"Many farmers will be disappointed with the announcement that there is to be no lifting of the trigger price for beef," the chairman of Dominion Meat and Wool Section of Federated Farmers, Mr Bruce Anderson, said recently. The Federation would seek a lift in both the minimum and trigger prices in meetings to set levels for the new season which begins on 1 October, Mr Anderson said.
