Brigade appoints thirteenth member
The National Park Volunteer Fire Brigade welcomed its thirteenth member, Mr Les Murcott, recently and approved its first woman member, pending a medical. Arrangements are underway for the Brigade's honours night to be held Saturday, 10 November. On Thursday the National Park Scout Group visits the station to watch the firemen put through their paces. This follows an earlier visit to the Brigade's fortnightly practice session by five venturer scouts on Thursday, 19 July. I A family 'pot luck dinner' I is planned for 12 August.
