STEINLAGER
The ski racing season gets underway at Whakapapa on the weekend of 28-29 July with the Haesli Cup and Steinlager Slalom Cup. Both races are being hosted by the Ruapehu Ski Club who so successfully ran the Subaru Nationals late last season. "The Steinlager Slalom becomes part of the Reizenstein Series so we are expecting some exciting racing," said Scott Lee, spokesman for the organising committee.
