Stars trek to mountain lodge
Theme: Year 4069. Held at Mangawhero Lodge Saturday 23 June. Approximately 50 people attended. The party was a private function and invitations were sent out. People came from as far as Palmerston North, Wanganui and Tauranga. Prizes for the best dressed female went to Julie Oliver who dressed as a martian, all in green. The male prize went to Barry Sno\yball who dressed
as a girl revealing a great pair of legs. The judging was done by Jodi Koorey and Greg Parkes. Tapes and records supplied and played by Craig Pennell. The party started at 7.30 and continued until the early hours of the morning. The organisers were pleased with the party's success. The costumes ranged from togas to 'Year 4069' housewives.
