Faulty wiring causes fire
At the centre of this smoking inferno in Whangaehu Valley Road is a Massey Fergusson tractor belonging to Frank Taylor of Ohakune. The tractor which was being driven by Kevin Robinson suddenly burst into flames due to faulty . wiring and the resultant petrol overflow. The fire was soon brought under control by two appliancesfrom the Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade and, despite the appearance of the blackened machine, it is understood repairs are almost completed.
