Moving on
Ross and Gail Henry, former managers of the Ohakune Hotel who took over the Rutland Hotel in Wanganui three months ago are once again on the move. This time they head for New Guinea where they are to mapage the Hew On Motor Hotel near Lae on a 2-year contract. They are due to take up their new 'tropical' appointment on the 24th of this month ... a far cry from managing a hotel in Waimarino 's winter.
