JUNIOR SOCCER
The Ohakune Junior Soccer Club entered a team in a Round Robin Tournament at Turangi on Queen's Birthday Monday, and met with some success, finishing as runners-upjto the winners, Taumarunui. Results were: Game 1 : Ohakune 4 goals beat Waiouru 3 goals. Goal scorers for Ohakune were Regan Sue, Junior Kaata (2) and Anthony Callaghan. Game 2: Ohakune 2 goals beat Turangi nil. Goal scorers for Ohakune were Michael Wills and Carl Ram. Game 3: Ohakune nil lost to Taumarunui 1 goal.
