Former Resident maintains contact
As a resident of Ohakune for 30 plus years and Mayor for 13 of those years I really appreciate the opportunity of keeping in touch via the medium of your excellent paper. A paper such as yours, besides being of benefit to expatriates like me, is also of tremendous benefit to the local community. By acting as a communication link between various sections comprising the Waimarino and when the occasion requires it speaking for the district as a whole you are providing an extremely valuable service.
