MULVAYS CORNER
An accident occurred on the notorious Mulvay's corner on Monday night at 10.45 p.m. when the trailer of a truck slid into a ditch pulling the whole unit with it. The driver was unhurt, the trailer was wrecked. Road traffic — including NZR Road Services buses — were held up for some time before the road was cleared.
