Ruapehu College

A group of 58 senior students from Ruapehu College travelled to Wanganui Community College on Friday as part of the open week. They took advantage of the opportunity to investigate courses available to them. ★ ★ ★ Term started with boiler in action but it broke down on Wednesday morning when the motor burnt out. As the average classroom temperature was 6°C and other means of heating were inadequate, the decision to close the school was made. Fortunately, Thursday was a warmer day and even though the heaters were still not repaired, pupils were , able to keep adequately warm for the day.
