Ski mid-week... and save money
The big news at Whakapapa Ski Area this year is the introduction of heavily discounted mid-week skiing packages. Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Limited, operators of the skifield have lowered the cost of mid-week skiing to $10 per day on a 5 day midweek pass and $ 1 2 a day on a 3 day mid-week pass. These passes allow the skier full use of all lift facilities on the mountain and R.A.L. have announced their intention of
running as many lifts midweek as it takes to keep lift lines to a minimum. Beginners have not been forgotten in the packages either, . there's a 3 day beginners package for $25 which enables the skier to ride the chairlift to get to the best beginners slopes and full use of all rope-tows and platter-lifts once there. The Top O'the Bruce ski rental is also offering discounted mid-week packages. A three day package will cost $24 and a 5 day package $33.
