Planning Tribunal

I have followed the correspondence in your newspaper re the 'Hobbit' with a great deal of interest and sympathy for Mr Jackson. I believe his appeal comes up this week. A sentence from the editorial in the Wanganui Chronicle 16/5/84 comes to mind: "to be acceptable laws must guide, not repress." I hope our Borough Council and the Planning Tribunal will bear this in mind when passing judgement on Mr Jackson.
