Planning Tribunal hearings to be held next week
The Planning Tribunal is due to hear a number of Appeals when they sit in Ohakune on Wednesday 30 May. The Appeals will be heard in the Ohakune Borough Council Chambers startingat 10.00am. The following appeals are listed: • B.A. Wilde versus Ohakune Borough Council. • Ohakune Shopping Centre and Reynolds Motors (Ohakune) Ltd versus Ohakune Borough Council. • B.A. Wilde and Others versus Ohakune Borough Council. • Alex Harvey Industries Ltd and Others versus Ohakune Borough Council. • Ohakune Borough Council versus New Zealand Railways.
• P.J. Jackson (Hobbit Motorlodge Ltd) versus Ohakune Borough Council. This last listed appeal (Hobbit Motorlodge versus Ohakune Borough Council) is due to be heard at 1 1.00am. Residents and ratepayers
of Ohakune are reminded that these Appeal hearings are open to the public. But because public seating in the Council Chambers is limited, those who wish to hear the decisions which the Tribunal Will bring down, are advised to attend early.
