Attention all golfers... and banqueters!

This Thursday (day after tomorrow) sees one of the major fundraising activities in the Waimarino with the return of the Ruapehu Lions Charity Golf Tournament and Banquet Dinner in aid of the St Dominic's School for the Deaf. Held every two years at the Waimarino Golf Club this will be the fourth such occasion Ruapehu Lions have organised this fundraising day. On the three previous occasions they have been able to present a cheque for $1000 to St Dominic's and they are hoping for similar support again this time. Good trophies are to be had and non-golfers are welcome to attend the banquet see Public Notices for details.
