KINDERGARTEN

The Ohakune Kindergarten has had a busy month with the children participating in many interesting activities both in and out of the Kindergarten. Constable Brian Wilson visited the kindergarten to explain his role in the community and the children followed this by a visit to the Police Station. After waiting for a fine day the children, teachers and some parents went on . the Mangawhero Forest Walk, followed by a sausage sizzle. U ndoubtedly the highlight of the month was a visit to the Kings Courtv The children, all dressed in their very best _ clothes, were treated to a lovely meal in the presence of Princess Sylvia. The children also visited the dental clinic and are now busy educating their parents on what is the best food for their teeth and each child was given a daily brushinta chart. ^|| The Kindergarten committee are organising a Winter Fashion Parade to be held at the Kings Court on Wednesday 2 May. Wine and a lighf supper willbe served. Some of the proceeds from this will be used for developing the outdoor play area of the Kindergarten.
