Judge hosts visit to court

Representatives of the Ohakune Borough Council, Raetihi Borough Council, the Waimarino County Council, the Justice Department, the Police and other local community organisations were given an opportunity to view the newly renovated and refurbished Ohakune District Courthouse following last month's court hearings on Thursday 22 March. Wanganui circuit Judge E.W. Unwin, who hosted the distinguished visitors, thanked the Ohakune Borough Council for the use of their council chambers as a temporary courthouse for the duration of the renovation work in the latter part of last year.
