Swimming baths close
The Ohakune Swimming Baths are now closed for the season. At lasf week's meting of the Ohakune Borough Council, councillors expressed appreciation for the work done by a small number of people who are the swimming baths committee. The swimming baths have been well used by the Ohakune Primary School during the season but "sadly Ruapehu College doesn't have much swimming in its syllabus" said Cr. Horne.
