The Ohakune Bowling Club have played a series of qualifying rounds to find players and teams for the week-long 'Champion of Champions' competition which is being contested in Wanganui this week. Members selected to play were: Rinks: Vi Brown, Vi Gardiner, Rita Kaiwhare, Maisie Hill. Senior Pairs:
Audrey Nation. Junior Pairs: Betty Hammond, Nina Hays. Senior Singles: Vi Brown. Intermediate Singles: Betty Hammond. Junior Singles: Elaine Cornwell. Open Singles: Betty Hammond.
