EXTRA MEMBERS ...MORE PROJECTS

During the ChristmasSew Year period only informal meetings were held. The first official meeting for the year on Wednesday 25 January took the form of a barbecue tea organised by Rotarian Tom Brummer. Members were given an opportunity to see the Winstone's Afforestation project in the Pipiriki area — all were most impressed by the magnitude of the development. At the meeting held on Wednesday 1 February a mini-assembly was held at which a programme and intended projects were discussed. A donation of S133 was given to the Southland Flood Relief Fund. Membership has increased which is very gratifying and with the extra "man-power" available more projects can becompleted in the coming year.
