Sponsored golf tournament great fun
One hundred and eighteen players — golfers and nongolfers — entered the Ohakune/ Karioi Rugby Club's sponsored 18-hole golf tournament at the Ruapehu Country Club on the Harding property in Waiouru on Sunday 29 January. Fine warm conditions were enjoyed by players and spectators alike and it is rnmoured that several of the 'non-golfers' who participated in the tournament are now addicted to the game.
