Some of the local children who enjoyed the Tongariro National park summer activities programme of walks with park guide and interpreter Debbie Chapman were from left, Ben Darlow, Luke Darlow, Tara Darlow, Caroline Haack and Ursula Haack, all from Ohakune. The number of children attending each activity ranged from five to 35 with average of about 18-20.
